"I approach each canvas as an opportunity to bring a new and interesting solution to the puzzle of creativity.  My works tend to consist of layer after layer of paint, which is often removed and replaced in a series of design interventions.  Dark and light, free-flowing forms that crash into sharp-edged squares, areas of raw, brilliant, multi-layered color existing side-by-side with the dark and brooding colors of the raw earth, textured surfaces and surprising materials juxtaposed through the works all compete to bring order to chaos.

I believe that some paintings may never be finished, but only await for another design intervention."
